Paying with Swish through Safello

You buy bitcoin with Swish at Safello and sign in with BankID. You then send the bitcoin from your Safello wallet to the payment page of your order.

NXT IPTV does not work together with Safello. This guide is general and follows Safello's own help pages as of October 2026. The app can differ a little in look, and the fees can change. Before you confirm, Safello always shows you the fee.

What you will need

  • Swish and a Swedish Mobile BankID
  • The Safello app, or the web version at app.safello.com
  • An order with us for which you picked Bitcoin

Step by step

  1. Order from us and pick Bitcoin. On the order's payment page you will find a bitcoin address, the exact BTC amount and a QR code. The invoice stays valid for 48 hours.
  2. Open Safello and sign up, or sign in, using BankID.
  3. Buy bitcoin and use Swish to pay. The purchase needs to cover the order amount and Safello's fee for sending, plus a small margin. Safello's smallest purchase is SEK 350, and the purchase itself also carries a Safello fee.
  4. Once the bitcoin has reached your wallet, open Wallet, pick Send and then Bitcoin.
  5. Type in the amount shown on our payment page plus Safello's send fee (at the moment 0.00025 BTC). The fee is deducted from what you send, so if you leave it out, too little arrives.
  6. Add a recipient and paste in the bitcoin address from our payment page. Double-check the first and last characters.
  7. Safello will ask who the recipient is. Select a private wallet, state that the recipient is a company, and type NXT IPTV. If these questions are not answered, nothing is sent.
  8. Confirm the send. Safello usually sends within roughly 30 minutes, after which the payment needs one confirmation on the network.

All done

When the payment has been confirmed, your order is updated and delivered automatically. You receive an email with your details.

Worth knowing

  • During the first week after your first purchase, the most you can send from Safello is SEK 6,000. Once that week is over, no such limit applies.
  • Safello can check individual sends by hand. This makes it take longer, but the invoice stays valid for 48 hours.

When it does not work

  • Not enough arrived. The fee was deducted from the amount. Get in touch with your order number and the transaction ID (TXID).
  • The invoice is no longer valid. Send nothing more to the old address. Get in touch and we will help you.
  • No email after you paid. Look in your spam folder. Confirming a bitcoin payment can take some time.

Answers to the questions people ask most before ordering

Is BankID required for Safello?

Yes. Mobile BankID is used to create the account and to approve your purchases.

Can Safello send the bitcoin directly to you when I buy it?

No. The purchase first goes into your Safello wallet, and from there you send it on to the address on our payment page.

Why should I add the fee when sending?

Safello deducts the send fee from the amount you send. Adding it means the full amount arrives and the order goes through.

How do I answer the questions about the recipient?

Say that it is a private wallet and that the recipient is a company, NXT IPTV.
